Texas Highways April 2006 “Hico nearly 45 miles south of Interstate 20, I park in the teensy downtown of this Hamilton County hamlet and roam on foot for awhile. Hico News Review 5-2-05 “In recognition of National Historic Preservation Month, the Hico Historic Preservation presented annual local preservation commercial and residential awards at its meeting on Monday, May 2nd. The 2005 “Commercial Award” was presented to Becky Holt and Ellen and John McStay for their efforts in renovation of “The Blue Star Trading Company” building on Pecan Street in downtown Hico.”
