David Iles

David Iles - David Iles creates and casts his sculpture out of his Studio and foundry in Bolivar Texas, where he has lived since 1993.David’s work has been exhibited in over eighty shows throughout Texas and the United States.

David's work combines his interest in nature and art to make a body of work that ranges from life like wildlife portraits, to combinations of animals and objects that are incorporated to form narrative pieces that evoke humor and imagination. His work can be seen in public collections at the Dallas Arboretum, The Texas Sculpture Garden at Hall Office Park, The University of North Texas, The City of Irving and the Denton Public Library, as well as many private collections that include Trammell Crow and Frito Lay.

The Morning Star Wildlife Series of native southwest wildlife was commissioned recently, and the various animals from this series includes armadillos, jack rabbits, road runners, turkeys, horned toads, quail, doves, and a rattlesnake have been made available to the public.
